The taps

When you have a bath, do you face the taps or not? When I have a bath I always like my feet to be facing the taps, I also like to lay down in the bath so the taps would get in my way.

lol Yeah when I take a bath I lay with my feet faceing the taps and I turn the hot and cold tabs with my feet until I run out of hot water. but most of the time I take showers I don't see the point in a bath since when you wash everything that comes off is in the water with you I think showers are more effcient ^_^...but thats just me. Hope you have a nice day Anne18 (^.^)

I don't like my head to be at the taps, so I face them. It would be interesting to have one of those tubs with the taps on the side.

Although I don't take baths anymore, when I did my feet would always face the taps. Now that I take showers all the time, I always face away from the sprayer b/c I don't like water in my face. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

I have a shower and a bench at the end away from the taps so I face them. Now, my mom used to have a shower bench before she had to move into full nursing care. She was having trouble getting into the shower because she had the shower chair facing the taps and the sliding doors made it very hard for her to get in so I suggested moving the chair to the other end and face away from taps. She didn't think she'd like it until her first shower, then she loved it!

It has been such a long time since I have actually taken a bath. I normally take showers. I do know that I have always faced the tap also. My kids do it the same way.

I think that it depends who is in the bath with me Anne!! Being chivalrous I would usually let a lady choose and suffer if necessary. Perhaps it's just as well that we only have a shower now.

When I take a bath, I always face the tap. I hate it when the water starts to get cool. I keep the hot water running so that the water will not get cold. Facing the tap makes it easier for me to reach the tap. sometimes the water gets too hot and I have to turn it off.

Hi Anne18 I very rarly have a bath but on the odd occassion that I do I will always face the taps because if I was the other way around it would very uncomfortable. My memories of a young child when I had to share a bath with my brothers I would always end up with the tap end (my brothers were bigger and older than me!) and I remember the cold tap feeling freezing on my back and the hot tap scolding me and shouting at my brothers to move down a bit!

i prefer to have a shower bath. i like the water to be really hot and sizzling. i love to vary the temperature by controlling it with the mixer. i spend a while facing the shower with the water falling ion my face and dripping down my body the i spend a while with my back to the shower and water running down my back. I like to be all steamed in and have the bath full of steam.

Yes I am with you on this one ,you cannot lay down and soak if the taps are digging in your head,Very uncomfortable a nice long soak very relaxing.I put oil in my bath and have to scrub it all out as if I don't I am frightened someone will slip and break their neck.

I dun have such luxury at home, in my bathroom.. hehe ^_^ As my bathroom is very small, so i cant afford the space to have a bathtub in it, to enjoy a bath like this.. hehe ^_^ BUt i did tried it once when i was in bangkok and i was using the bathtub.. It was such a nice feeling, and i had my head just under the tap.. It's more convenient for me, so that i can reach for it as and when i like without disturbing my resting position.. haha
