O.J. Simpson is in court, dressed in blue jail scrubs, for sentencing. Judge could send former football star to prison for life. Simpson convicted of armed robbery, kidnapping, assault.Charges stem from 2007 confrontation in Las Vegas hotel room http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/12/05/oj.simpson.sentencing/index.html

This man has gotten away with so much -- so far. Juries are made up of human beings, who probably can't totally wipe the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman from their minds. In addition, claiming something really belongs to him doesn't justify kidnapping, theft, etc. The longer the sentence, the more appropriate it will be!

There are very few, usually white-collar criminals, who get any special treatment. Every inmate has jobs, too. I suspect he'll find a huge group of admirers, and a bigger group who hate him, just as he did at home, a few blocks from my house here in Miami. The neighbors were cheering when he was sentenced, if for no other reason than to keep the papparazzi away, so we can go to and from our homes without hassles. He was definitely never liked or admired in the neighborhood, at all!

Well, I think he shouldn't be treated with royal treatment or get off easy because he is a celebrity, I think he should get what anyone else would get if they weren't a celebrity. He should get the Maxium in my book if he did the crime he should do the time.

Oh, I have a bias against the man so speaking my mind is probably unfair. I think, however, he is a repeat offender and problem person. I believe that should have some bearing on how much time he spends in jail. Wasn't there something about three strikes?

Well considering he already got away with murder, he should definitly go to jail for life with no parole!

whenever I see a photopgraph of this person I become angry. I am so sorry, but I cannot discuss this rationally. I just hope that the sentencing is fair by the judge.

Wow! This is a big case I see. There is no point to put someone in life imprison because such crime can't be forgiven. Even if he deserved a 2nd chance, he will get it when he re-born but better make sure no more crime committing. Sotimes this imprison really wasting government money @ citizen taxation. Crime rates could reduce if the government know how to manage the country.

I hope that he gets the maximum sentence on every count and I hope that the Judge runs the sentences consecutively. Okay now that I feel better, I think that the Judge will go middle of the road on all of the sentences and that she will run them concurrently. I'm watching coverage right now and the Goldmans are in court. I hope that this family finally gets justice.
