Have you recently told a "white lie"?

I told one last night to my Aunt. I love her but she can drive a person batty quite easily. She wanted me to take my kids to her house to to go McDonalds. 1. I totally hate McD's food 2. It's only 6 degree's above zero outside & that's w/o the wind chill and my kids are small still 3. Even with gas prices going down I still am conserving gas and expenses on anything I can do. So I told her my hubby was off, if he was working she'd badger me into going. Bad enough when it's warm out horrid when it's below freezing & I don't like going out if I don't have to either. What "white lie" have you told recently?
