These 12 Steps for Congressional Spending Addiction can also be applied to State Legislatures, City Government and All Citizens who demand the government bail them out of their financial problems.
Newsflash to the greedy, there is no money in Washington DC. I don't care how many times our elected officials lie about being able to help. The Federal Teet is dry. It's so dry that if you added an ocean of moisture you still pass equilibrium.
The feeding frenzy we laughingly call the "bail outs" have reached a full half of our annual GPD!!! That means that, as much as the Democrats liked to cry crocodile tears over the spending habits of the Republican led Congress, they were miserly compared to the Democrat controlled Congress. No, I'm not pointing fingers at one or the other, I'm correctly identifying both parties as totally irresponsible, corrupt, spending addicts.
What else would you call anyone who spends trillions in a matter of months? It took us the first 200 years to cross the trillion dollar debt mark... now we're doing it in a single session of Congress! Several times over!!
If you are sitting there wondering how you can get yours... QUIT! There isn't anything there to be YOURS. Every dime the government spends is BORROWED, which means every dime spent now means hundreds of dollars to pay back!
The government owes enough in payroll, benefits, pensions and contractual agreements... the last thing our budget needs is a nation of Freddie the Freeloaders whining like 300 Million Dudley Dursley's on his Birthday!
Instead of blubbering for more, we should be finding ways to help the government reduce spending!
First of all by cutting all funding to any program that has no Constitutional backing. Cutting funds being paid to other countries long after the original purpose of the treaty has passed. Cutting funding to state programs with no interstate value or purpose.
It is immoral to abuse the alcoholic by putting more and more alcohol in front of them, demanding they drink it. There is literally and figuratively NO difference in doing that and what we are doing with our government officials.
Stop the madness! Stop being spoiled brats!
It's not just the corporate fat cats, we just elected a man president because he promised to write checks. New to the ignorant! HE CAN'T WRITE CHECKS! Only Congress can do that! But before you start sucking up the the Congressional Teet remember this....
THE TEET IS DRY, all you are sucking on is your own stupidity!

I completely agree with all of this. I have been screaming this to everyone since the first bailout and even our understanding of the money system is our own stupidity. People don't even understand how it works and that it is not even real. We just keep playing along until one day it all goes to #$%^.

It's not that people don't understand how it works, it's that people just don't care.
They argue over the reasons why the federal teet should be sucked, but never seem to getting around to the fact that there is nothing left to suck.
