I dont mind when people protest at all as long as they dont harm people or cause major problems. Lately people have decided to cause as much trouble as they can shuting down whole countries in the proces. There has been 2 airports protests that have caused major problems which is not fair on the people that need to fly out. Insurance does not cover (or most insurance) if there is a protest so people who are on holiday or strangers to the country have to cover their own cost for one. Then there is all the stress and waiting and then who would want to go back after this I would not. Now the same thing happend in England and I love what they said "oh well they (pasingers) should not be flying anyway. I am sorry but how did they got there (protesters) I am sure they didnt walk. So whats the difference people need to get to places by using transport and planes are transport.
What do you think of protesters and the way some act? Is it ok to cause such major problems? What is next hospitals??? I know they need do get their points across but some things are just over the top.

Yes, we are perplexed at the show of strength of protesters yet I feel that its just a reflection of how apathetic some governments have become of late. The recent siege of Bangkok airport was as much surprising as shocking but then I started thinking that ordinary people can lay siege to an international airport only if the government machinery is almost defunct. And it becomes defunct after months of apathy and inaction and oblivion to the people’s needs. So if the situation is so desperate that the govt has almost stopped functioning and people can just walk through the streets in masses and capture important govt institutes, I think such large scale protests are justified.

I agree with you about the issue but as long as no inocent people are harmed because of their actions. Sure take over parlament and other institutions. On our way back from Europe in September we had to stop in Bangkok and it wasnt as bad then. But we had to stay on the plane so it can refill and we took off. We traveled with smll kids (it was a very large group that we traveled with) do you know how fearful the whole thing was. Thinking that the plane could be taken over and be warned about posible outcomes.

This is very sad but true.
Protests are common, especially in this modern world. I too wish there would be harmless protests, but the fact is the protests themseles are being done by somewhat violent people and therefore, the harm and damage is being done.

That is true. And the latest one with the greeks that is just over the top. Burning buildings and cars and that is totaly wrong. The owners of those things did nothing wrong. Sure they are upset but I am sure there are better ways.
