Do you need to work on Saturdays? / myLot

In my country, some work requires 5 working days, which is from Monday to Friday only. Some need to work on every Saturday, some work on alternate Saturday. Some work for the full day on Saturdays, most work for half day on Saturdays. As for my current job, I only need to work 5 days a week, and Saturdays are always rest days for us. How about you? do you need to work on Saturdays? every Saturday or alternate Saturday only?

Yes, I work some Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis because I work on a hospital ward so staff are needed 24/7, but I do them as part of my working week and not in addition. This weekend will be my 3rd weekend off in a row but sometimes I dont get a Saturday & Sunday off for weeks.

You work really hard... I guess the people who work in hospital are actually quite tough, always need to stand by 24/7. I really appreciate their work.
