White, fluffy, beautiful

First 2 inches - I love this shot of my deck railing covered in fluffy fresh snow.

This is a shot from my front deck as the snow was falling Monday evening. Got about 5 inches total. I love how the snow rounds out due to gravity etc also. This shows almost 2 inches that fell at this time. After this amount the rest just falls off not getting any deeper on the rails. I think it's awesome lookoing. Just wanted to share the beauty I experienced last night and today. Thanks all and have a great day/evening as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

When my kids were little we moved to northeast Texas and it snowed each weekend for several weekends in a row. My aunt who lives up there said she has never seen it snow that much or that often in her life up there and she was born and raised there in that area. We all had such a good time playing in it, and of course back then I didn't even own a camera and not sure if they had the disposable ones either. hahahaha Thank you for sharing the beauty with people like me who don't get to see it often.

we had a snow storm today which is about 5 inches of snow and that is enough to stop traffic from moving properly

That is a very crystalline shot. I like it! We have only got a wimpy veil of snow, and that was a couple of days ago. Not even worth mentioning. Next week it is supposed to sleet and freeze, so we'll see what happens then. Keep up the pretty shots!

How wonderful to have Christmas in winter - I wish! We're in summer now, but today is overcast and miserable - rain threatening. Usually, Christmas day is sweltering, and we're all sweating like crazy as we stuff ourselves with inappropriate food! Enjoy your snow - lucky things!
