This is a shot of one of the grandkids stockings. They are hung with care and stuffed with a couple small gifts and lots of candy. I can't eait to see their eyes when they get their hands on them. Now I may have to take them down and hide them if they come out next weekend. They won't be here this weekend so I am safe there. Are your kids/grandkids/pets stockings stuffed and or hung already? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I was going to ask you if they knew you stuffed them or if Santa stuffed them then I read about you taking them down if they come. I know Santa always stuffed the stockings around here. No I don't have stockings hung for anyone. My grandson has his hung at his house and will get things in it but Santa will leave him a gift or two here.

They are 9 and 7 and basically know whom the REAL Santa is. Now Savanas birth is going to change things next year as I have to keep Santas identity a secret for a few years from now on. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Making gifts by hand is always a cheap way to go. And a lot of people really appreiate the effort and thought that gors into homemade gifts. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I have a bag full of small goodies for my younger daughters and grandsons stockings but I do not fill them until Christmas eve Bob. At least you are organised and your children or grandchildren cannot see them everyday so hiding them next week is a good thing as I know my daughters would be down theirs eating and peeping at all their things. I do have them hanging on the doorway though all ready to be filled up with their treats.

I aleways fill them at least a week in advance. I usually hide them from the kids view as well. So if they visit next week they'll be hidden. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We put up the stockings but don't fill them until just before the grandkids arrive. If they come early they will see the goodies. The stockings are the first thing they open when the arrive at our house.

hung stockings - Christmas humor for all
Wow. You have your stocking stuff and hung up early..I can't stuff and hang up my family's stockings until 4 AM Christmas morning and if I'm lucky I can do it at 11:45 PM on Christmas eve. My son would tear into his stocking if stuffed it now.I have to sneak around in the dark like Santa on Christmas eve night or VERYearly Christmas morning to stuff those babies! But they do look pretty hung and stuffed in your pic.I have 4 stocking to stuff this year, my brother,my son,my husband & my cat's share a stocking because we don't have room to hang another one on the fireplace mantel.

We don't hang stockings anymore. They are 10 years to 20 years here, and an almost 5 month old who doesn't know what Christmas is yet. These kids want bigger things.

Oh you did a great job Grandpa! The Grands are going to be so excited. Our staockings are hung but they will not be filled until Early christmas morning. I am sure noone here beleives as my children are 8, 15, 18 and 20...but I like another commentor said "If you dont beleive then he will not be coming anymore". So I havent heard a word in years! LOL The pets get alittle something in their stockings as well. Usually something that will keep them occupied all morning! LOL Merry Christmas!

wow they are nice and full. I haven't even hung up anything yet for Christmas. i know we are a little late this year. We usually put up stuff the weekend after Thanksgiving but we were out of town this year so this weekend coming we will put up everything. I will have to find the kids Christmas tree today or tomorrow b/c 12 days of Christmas already starts on Friday and I know I don't have enough gifts yet so I will have to go shopping Sunday to get somemore. I did start collecting for their stockings but I know I don't have enough for it to be filled with things.

Hello Grandpa Bob. I am sure that the kids will be extremely happy when seeing the stockings with their nice gifts to them. It is like what we look forward to getting lucky money from our parents on the first day of our traditional Spring Festival. Merry Christmas to you, Grandpa Bob.

Nope we haven't had the time to do it yet. I couldn't even find the stockings for St. Nickolas night so we had to use the traditional shoes left out. Besides with my kids being so young you just don't know if the stockings will be left intact where you left them much like anything ;)
