How Often Do You Clean Your Sensor?

For those of you with DSLRs that have a self-cleaning sensor function, how often do you run a sensor cleaning on your camera? Do you have it set to automatically run when you turn your camera on or off? Or do you chose to run it on your own? I run my on my own. I run it every time I change a lens. If I notice dust on my lens, then I run it several times until the dust dissappears. It works very well! One time I had a really annoying dust spot appearing on all of my photos. I ran my sensor cleaner, and it didn't fix it right away. But I kept running it, and after a few times it was gone! It is a very handy tool to have in a DSLR!
