A photographer friend of mine is a finalist in a photo contest. If she wins this contest, she will be Sony Ericsson's Official Photographer for 2009. She has a lot of talent and has been trying to break into the industry for awhile now, and this could really be the break she needs to start her career! The way the contest works is that for 5 days, each of the finalist photographers submits one photograph to represent the day's theme... but the photo must be taken with their Sony Ericsson cell phone! Then viewers can visit the website and vote for their favorite photo each day. At the end of the 5 days, the photographer with the most overall votes wins! It is currently a very close competition, and she could use all the votes she can get!
