I think you should call up the lab or where you are having it done and explain the situation and see what they think, or can tell you what to do or what they will do for her.

There are no guarantees, of course, but most of the lab techs are trained to deal with drawing blood from children. They tend to try to make it a little fun and a lot less scary for them. On your part, you may want to tell her what to expect, but don't make it sound bad at all. Be sure to tell her that she needs to be still and it will be done in just a couple of seconds. She may surprise you and be the type that likes to watch the blood fill the tubes. Chances are, you are more worries about it that she is.

Each kid reacts differently to these situations all you can do is reassure her through the process. If she gets upset make them stop so she can calm down and make sure they aren't rough or have to keep trying again and again to do blood. explaining the process as it progresses also sometimes helps if she knows what to expect next.

Well, a lot of times you need to find ways to distract them. Maybe make her a promise that you will get her an Ice Cream or something if she allows them to take her blood without no real problems as well. But like others have said, the technicians are trained to draw blood from children and are usually quite good in helping them to think of other things as well.
