Don’t blow your fuse, its a fruit found in Jamaica. It is very sweet but it has what many think is an unpleasant smell. It is found in a hard brown shell and inside is orange sweet substance coating a hard seed. Trust me it taste good but so called because of the smell, mind you I have eaten it and the smell isn’t obnoxious. Would you try and then decide or not eat it because of its name ?lol

My motto when it comes to food is to try everything at least once. I have gotten a little older, and therefore not as adventurous about food as I used to be. If i can get past the smell I probably would try it. If it tastes good I would continue to eat it no matter what the smell.

Well in order for me to try it I wouldn't want to be told the name first to be honest. If I find the smell to be unpleasant at first. . .sniff I probably wouldn't eat it. Just like I can't stand the smell of foods like burritos or tacos. . .won't try them because I can't get past the smell.

I probably would not try it if it smelt bad. It sounds a bit like the Australian Vomit Fruit which is said to taste ok if you can get past the revolting smell of vomit to try it. It is banned in many areas because of the horrendous smell.
