Cupboard or fridge?

OK, all the jars say 'refrigerate after opening'!
But do you?
Is the Branston in the cupboard but the jam in the fridge? Are the pickled onions on the top shelf but the mint sauce cooling with the butter?
And what about the eggs?
Cupboard or fridge, c'mon, dish the dirt about your food storage oddities.

Yes. If it says refrigerate after opening, I put it in the fridge.
Sometimes I put stuff in the fridge even if it doesn't require refrigeration.
I live in South Florida. I do have A/C but I grew up withouth it, and it was important to keep things cool.

If it says refrigerate after opening then I do. There is a reason it is suppose to be put in the fridge after you open things. I do not want to get my family sick. Food sitting at room temperature can grow harmful bacteria foods that say need to be refrigerated need to be refridgerated to keep your family safe.

I put just about everything in the refrigerator even if it doesn't require me to do so. That way, I don't get any bugs in anything. I will keep unopened jars and packages in the cupboard, but once I open them, I put them in the refrigerator. I even put the bread in the refrigerator, too.

Any time something says to refrigerate after opening I made sure that I do that. Once I left a carton of eggs out on the counter over night and I was just going to throw them away. I called my father in law to see if he wanted them and he said that some people dont even refrigerate them and to send them down and he use them. So that was better that someone got some use out of them due to my mistake. I'm glad they didnt wind up in the garbage but if it was mean I would have just thrown them away.
