A lost photo

Saturday night we were out and about, and stopped at a grocery store to pick up a couple things. The grocery store offered carts with a car in the front, and my boys love these carts. We put the toddler in it at first. While we were walking around the store the baby became fussy, so I decided to put him in the car part as well. It was really cute. He's only 11 months old, but he was spinning the steering wheel and everything. I had my camera in my purse, so I took it out and snapped a photo of the 2 little boys in the car. I left the photo on the camera for a couple days, because that was the only photo on the camera. The camera was not removed again from my purse until last night when my kids were making a gingerbread house. I took it out and snapped a picture of that as well. So this morning I go to upload my 2 pictures onto my computer, but there's only 1. The picture I do have is of the gingerbread house. I've lost the picture of the boys in the car. I am just thankful I didn't lose the picture of the kids making the gingerbread house, because that one I can't replace. It was their first time ever making a gingerbread house. The boys in the car cart isn't as important of a picture. Has your camera ever lost a picture? I'm stumped as to what happened, perhaps I shut the camera off too soon before the picture was saved, I don't know. It's slightly disappointing, but as I said, it could have been worse.

I don't recall anything like that ever happening to me before. When I first got my camera phone I was trying to get a picture of my daughter with it and it just would not snap a picture. I finally realized I was shooting a video. I had it in the wrong mode.

I had to replace my digital camera last year. I had the memory card so i figured all my pics would be saved. Only some saved while quite a bit dissappeared. I didn't worry about it because i still had some printed out already.
