The Marines are establishing a "Military Presence in San Bernardino County, California". If that sentence isn't intimidating enough, imagine being pulled over (having had a few) for a booze test and find a Marine as well as a California Highway Patrol guy staring at you. The Marines are from Air and Ground Combat Center.

This little nugget of data has the entire Internet in a twist, and the tin hatters are going APE! Alex Jones is waxing...well, I can't get into that in a G Rated post. The Posse Comitatus, according to these guys, is getting shredded six ways from Sunday.

I personally don't trust the first version of a story I read, and my search for a 'Posse Comitatus Violatus' debunk has turned up empty thus far. What exactly are the Marines doing? Chasing drunks doesn't seem like their cup of tea.

^ That is the only story I found that sounds like it's related.
It's from a local news website in Califoria.

*nods solemnly*
I said over the course of this year that California's the microcosm for what'll happen to the rest of the states. I DID mean economically, but this makes me hope that what I said won't apply to anything else either.
Sometimes it's just better to be wrong. _
