What type did you have and why'd you have to have it ? she had surgery on her foot/ankle because of an accident. I've had a peice of my bowel removed as a child, my apendix out, my wisdom teeth removed, and 2 c sections, i'm a pro! lol. the first c section was the scariest. please tell me your stories. i'm all ears :)

I had my tonsils out when I was 6, and then other surgery would be having my tubes tied and my appendix taken out.. I have a doctor who was caring for my foot when I injured it, and after giving me the maximum amount of shots for my foot, he said the next alternative would be surgery..I declined, because as a dancer, and taking a chance of my foot becoming numb, was at this time, not an option for me..I would hope to never have to have surgery on my foot, so far I am just being cautious of the kind of shoes I wear and I haven't had much pain..:)

Not often, because I know with our finances, we couldn't afford another child and I am getting older, (over 45) and have 2 boys and 2 girls, so I really don't think we need to have anymore..Though when I see a baby, I still have those instincts to want another, but it passes quickly.. But you, you have 2 girls, correct? and you are still young..If you are considering it, I would suggest you take a LOT of time to make that decision, because though there is no guarantee you would have a boy, if I could, I would try for one..But, this is something I would do, what you decide should be between you and your husband and what you feel is best for you..

I had surgery on my nose, because i was so stupid to fall on my nose and broke it. Last year i has a hysterectomy because i had a prolapsed uterus and a bladder subsidence. I got the bladder subsidence because my uterus was pushing my bladder away.

Good luck to your friend. I had surgery on both of my legs about 20 years ago, to lengthen the tendons in the back of my legs.

Well I have had a couple of surgeries. I too had a c section and it was the scariest by far...very unexpected actually. The week before we had our check up for mwe and my first child. She was all ready to go facing the right way and everything. Then I go into labour and we rush to the hospital. Come to find out sshe had flipped upside down and was butt down, they tried flipping her but I couldn't handle the pain...I'm a big wimp!!!So they had to do an emergency c section....I had a hard time with the spinal tap...I was shaking and my hubbby was trying to make me laugh...NOT A GOOD THING AT THIS POINT!!! But after like 20 minutes of cutting and pulling she was born butt first through my stomach. Then this summer I go bit by a cat and almost had surgery on my hand...My hand looked like a baseball glove....Don't ever let a cat bit you...very dangerous. But I was lucky and just had to go into hospital for 3 days...not pleasent and have tons of antibiotics Then this summer I got my tubes tied....and I was put completely asleep...and there was alot of recovery from that...even tho it was only day surgery!!! there. My life story...LOL
