For any of my favorite chocoholics, who are running low on Halloween candy....the after Christmas sale is this Friday! It's a long time until the next sale, so stock up! Unless of course I beat you to the sale....lol. And for those candy cane sale? If you have a food processor, they're great ground up and used in hot chocolate. My daughter loves it! Happy Holidays everyone!

I think maybe I should stay away from those sales. Not just for my pocket book, but because they are way too tempting. Christmas time candy is not just normal candy, is it. They come out with all sorts of different goodies for this time of the year. Candy makers are especially clever with new chocolate temptations. Although I have to say, I will never be tempted to eat a Santa peep.

Yes, they do seem to come out with a lot of tempting confections this time of year. But I haven't seen a Santa peep...do they make them? I bet it would make your mouth all red. I guess you wouldn't be caught red handed, but red lipped....lol. Have a Wonderful Christmas!

While I'm none too keen on after holiday sales I do love the ones after Christmas...I take advantage of not only holiday candies, but ornaments, wrapping paper..everything on sale...--and it looks like at my local walgreen's they are still loaded up on a LOT of stuff that they haven't sold yet..maybe due to the economy and no one really buying anything...

Thanks for the info. I wonder if this sale will be as crazy as the one they have after Thanksgiving. That sounds like a good idea for the candy canes, I might have to try it. Merry Christmas to you....

I grind them up to use every year. Otherwise they'd sit around until they got gummy. If you same spice bottles, that's a good way to store your 'mint sugar', and makes it very easy to sprinkle whenever you want some. Happy Holidays!
