Oh yeah, I've done it!
I tend to buy a litre of chocolate milk to keep at work, and occasionally warm that up in a cup to have "hot chocolate".
Well I've done it today, I added hot chocolate mix to that as well, and MY GOODNESS did it smell/taste AWESOME coming out of the microwave!
Ever tried double or triple hot chocolate, you can sometimes buy it in specialty boxes at the grocery store, or starbucks/tim hortons/small coffee shop has them.
Well you can recreate the effect yourself by doing this!
OH! oh so good!
Anyone else get creative with their hot drinks? Irish in their coffee included?

Oh, sure, I always double up on the chocolate, and although I don't drink coffee, sometimes I put a couple tablespoons of expresso in my milk along with a scoop or two of ice cream and some chocolate....yeah, and don't forget the whipped cream, ok?
My favorite is a 99 cent hot fudge sundae from McDonald's doctored with a bit of their hot coffee which I bum from someone at my table and pour over a few ice cubes and then stir into the sundae along with a few of those little tubs of half and half. Of course, heavy cream would do better, but I'll settle for what they have. Anyway those are way better than their awful iced drinks and cheaper too.
I wonder when somebody is going to invent designer marshmallows for people to put in their instant cocoa?

I'm an iced coffee addict - I'd much rather have cold drinks than hot, although I do enjoy an espresso every morning when we get up. Irish whiskey in coffee is indeed special ... but I haven't had that in years! (Have you tried putting marshmallows in your hot chocolate?)
