Thinking big-age matters or same story every time?

I've seen so many discussions here that have a lot to do with philosophy and morale and somehow I found it hard to express my full feelings. It doesn't have anything to do with my mind being shallow,I just never liked big talk and pomposity that comes with it. My question is-do you think it depends on your age or you will always stay the same person? My Dad is a very kind and wise man,phylosophical even. I guess I take after him cause he rarely opens his mouth to discuss anything major unless you provoke him with crazy talk:) We just keep our thoughts to ourselves. Will I stay myself or will I become one of those people that foam at the mouth at one mention of politics?... The answer is pretty obvious but it's not just about me. Do you think we become more open and expressive with our opinions as we age?

I think that about the only influence that age has is that older people have gained some insight into themselves and the world. But their basic personality has an effect on how vociferous they are about it and this, too, can be affected by age. For example a shy person may become less shy as they get older and thus more likely to voice ther opinions than when they were younger. But again just being older is not the main thing since some people never learn and never change.

I don't think age makes a difference, I think it's our views that change. 10 years ago I was a completely different type of person, with no strong views on anything. Today I have a lot of opinions and very strong views, and anything that I feel strongly about, I will debate about.
