Seven Layer Salad

My mom made a seven layer salad to go with Christmas dinner. I have not had one in a long time. I forgot how much I liked it. There is so much on it you kind of get lost in the layers. Have you ever had a seven layer salad?

I actually made it for my family's big Christmas dinner at my sisters. Everyone had a scoop or two so there wasn't much left. I really like it myself but only make it when there is a big group as I had a whole cake pan full of it. But it's very good and easy to make too!

Yeah, I only get it at family gatherings too. I guess I could make a small one, but I never do.

How funny I made the salad for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My mother-in-law liked it so much that she took the other half of the baking dish I made it in to keep for herself. I think it all depends on what you put in it and how good the dressing comes out. It's all bout the mayo & parmesian cheese combo. Dh has even requested I make another one..........

My mom does not use the parm. She makes hers a little different, but still really good.
