SMS wish for new year or a CALL...which would be better ?

how will u convey your good wishes to your friends who are not around you on this new year ?? Will you call them or send an sms message on their mobile ?
As with me, i will be calling only to a few. For the rest i will send them a good wish message. what are your plans?

I think there are some common things between us.I do it like you always.
If the time is close to the holidays,i will convey my good wishes to my best friends by phone,maybe we can talk with each other.But it's few persons.
I will send the messages to some others,then they will send some back to me.It's cheerful.
I hava lots of friends,but few good friends!
