What is your personality?

I am basically a very shy person. Apparently no one else knows this though. There is really a funny story behind this statement. My personal opinion of my personality is as I have stated. I am always afraid to meet new people and I don't like crowds. However I realize that I will not have any friends and cannot be truly happy if I don't overcome this so I work hard at changing this aspect of my personality. I have some very close friends that I admire very much and that I have known for years. One day the topic of personality came up and I made the statement that I was very shy. My friend was awe struck. You've seen the comics where someones jaw dropped open when they were shocked? Well my friend reacted just that way. When he could get control of his voice he said that he would never have used that word to describe me. In fact he would have used just the opposite. He said I was very outgoing and sure of myself. I laughed and told him I was just very good at fronting. Anyway I guess it works because most people don't see my inner fears, they just see the me that I project.
