Websites that explain the fundamental issues concerning Israel, Palestine, the West Bank, Gaza, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc?
What is the most simple way to explain the fundamentals of the Israel and Palestine conflict?
It’s obviously a complex issue and I am having a hard time piecing everything together. Any websites that attempt to clarify things? Kind of like an “Israel-Palestinian Conflict for Dummies”? My Google skills are only leading me to websites that further complicate things and make it harder to follow than it already is.

I am not sure, everything there is just so complicated it is a terrible situation and it is very hard coming from the outside and looking in and understanding all the various issues.

I don’t know of any website per se but have done some studies on this subject. As you know, Judaism, Christianity and Islam all originate from the single father Abraham. Israelites are the descendents of Abraham’s grandson Jacob. Jacob was supposed to have fought with God or one of His angels and hence was given the name Israel and the areas which were under him were supposedly the promised land of the Jews.
Coming to modern times, after WWI it was thought by the world powers that a suitable land for the Jews was required as till then, the Jews were a scattered lot all over the land and they wanted to return to their promised land. Keeping this in mind, a part of the territory was carved out from the existing land of the Arabs (Philistines) and handed over to the Jews as their new homeland of Israel. This is in a nutshell a history of the creation of Israel. In consecutive years however, surrounding Arab states never really accepted the presence of Israel in their midst and Israel too as a state was never friendly towards the existing Arab population. On top of that, Israel has been extending its boundaries with military assistance from the west and has pushed the Arabs (Philistines) further away from the land which they consider as their own. It’s a long story really and a lot of diplomatic, national and regional interests are at stake. It’s a very complex situation to say the least and half the world’s Muslim problems would be solved if this issue could be resolved amicably.

I can never understand what is going on either it is just to complicated ,what we need is a list under two headings one for Israel and one for palestine and underneath write Hamas, Hezbollah so we know which one is fighting for which,It got a bit like that in Northern Ireland during the conflict over there ,orange men, marchs the trouble with tne news reporters they all think we know what they are on about.
