New Years Eve

For New Years eve, we have family over. My daughter has her best friend over, and my siblings come. We have munchies, drinks and play poker with pennies. We have an outside fire place and usually have a fire after poker. What do you do? I prefer to stay home, it is safer and I don't like jail. Do you go out?

we have a thing at church for a couple of hours and watch a video of stuff that has happened over the past year and then we go to a party at someone's house til around 12:30. its fun and you get to hang out with friends and no one gets super drunk.

We went to Texas to visit my sister and her family. On New Years Eve we stayed in and played a game, we had a couple of margaritas, and watched the television for when it was time for the New Year. We had a nice time. It was serene and peaceful but very nice.

One of the most memorable New Years eves ever for my wife and I was when we had most of our friends over here. That way, I did not have to go home afterwards.

this time around we went bowling...that is always such a great time for me as I love to bowl.
It was me, my boyfriend, my oldest daughter and her boyfriend, my middle daughter and her boyfriend and my youngest daughter that went.

When I was younger, New Years Eve was big for me. I would go out and find socials and celebrate it to it's finest. Now that I'm in my 30s all I usually do is pick up shifts at work or stay home and treat it like it's an ordinary day. This year again I picked up a shift at work so I'm getting paid for a stat. I'm looking forward to making that money for it.

No I stay home or I leave a day ahead and come home a day after. As I don't trust the people on the road. I don't drink but they do and think they can drive. 
I almost got ran off the road one year as I was the driver for all the drunk friends. I told them never again. So yes this year I'm staying at home. Your friend onlydia

We are having a few friends over for snacks and games early in the evening. And my son reserved a couple of bowling lanes for us so this year we are going bowling! It's osmething new for us as we usually just stay at th house but we thought it sunded like fun! We don't drink so as long as others behave on the road we should be ok! LOL
