Why looking at sleeping `creatures` is so funny?

Why is it sometimes so funny to look at somebody who has fallen asleep or is trying to get some sleep?
Why we often tease those who have very deep sleep or those who likes to sleep a lot?
Have You ever laughed at somebody who snores while sleeping?
