Dale Wasserman was 94. Wasserman's wife says he died last Sunday of congestive heart failure at his home in the Phoenix suburb of Paradise Valley. "Man of La Mancha," the tale of the intrepid, ever idealistic Don Quixote, was one of Broadway's biggest hits in the 1960s. The show, which won the Tony for best musical, ran for more than 2,300 performances. Wasserman's adaptation of "Cuckoo's Nest," Ken Kesey's novel about a renegade mental hospital inmate, opened on Broadway in 1963. The production only ran for a little over two months but later became a fixture in community theaters. It was revived on Broadway in 2001."[/i]

THat is too bad that he has passed on...it's always sad to see a loss of someone with so much professionalism and a great imagination. Everyone will truly miss him...but he had so much to be proud of.
