If you have a camera phone then you can buy a connector, which is called a data wire. You can use it to transfer images from your cellphone. You can use a bluetooth phone also to transfer images. PS: what is printer is going to do with uploading picture? It must be a scanner.

I don't think you mean printer, I think you mean SCANNER. You're going to have to get a memory card for your phone and if your computer takes memory cards, then you can just save the pictures on your cell phone to the card then put the card into the computer and you should be able to copy them onto the computer. Another way is if your cell phone has a USB cord that comes with it, you can directly hook it up to the computer and it should be able to copy from there.

Printer is a printer and scanner is a scanner..... One that has both printer/scanner and sometimes fax and other odd stuff is call MFDs(Multi-Functional Devices). To upload photos from your phone, you should have a USB cable to connect your phone with computer. You might have got a cable and a CD along with your phone. CD contains the required drivers to connect your phone to computer. If you can give your phone model and company I will be better able to assist you....

What kind of camera do you have? Most cameras now have a docking station on a printer as well as a usb hookup that should be plug and play. If its a cell I'd listen to the first poster who obviously have some experience with that, but I would assume it should be pretty similar.

A printer is an output device, it takes data and puts them into the paper medium. The word your probably thinking of is a scanner, that is a glass bed that you load documents/photos and the computer reads (scans) them to picture format. For cellphones, you can transfer photos using bluetooth (and your computer having a bluetooth adapter), or a microsd card (and your computer having a card reader). Alternatively you can send the photos by MMS (multimedia message) to an e-mail address but it will use your data plan.

I know that I need more then just a printer I need a printer scanner copier all in one and they have those at amazon.com. in fact many copy machines have scanners built in them, I would leave a link to show you the kind of copier scanner I need but anyway, I cant afford one right now but thanks for the advice I will look into getting a connector for my cell phone.
