Ladies and gentleman, devoted readers, people who appreciate culture and most of all science-fiction literature, let us stop for a moment and take a bow to the man that has been Isaac Asimov.
Why today? Because today would have been his birthday!
Isaac Asimov was born on January the 2nd 1920, and during his 72 years of life he wrote some of the best science-fiction novels.
I was deeply impressed by the Foundation mega-series (although I still have a few books to read)...
Even if you?re not reading much SF, you probably heard about movies like I, Robot or The Bicentennial Man, both inspired by his work.
Are you familiar with his work?
What are your favorite Isaac Asimov novels?

I love the Elijah Bailey novels. He is a detective on Earth and is sent to outer worlds to discover the perpetrators of a crime. His off sider is R Daneel...a robot. I enjoy both the characters and the settings of these books...especially the set up on earth. I reckon that's where we are heading....to me, it's completely feasible.
