Battle of medical dramas: Grey's Anatomy or House?

House - If House and Grey is in the same hospital, Grey will surely hear a lot from House.

I personally like House but Grey's Anatomy isn't bad either. So how about you? Which do you like best? Ellen Pompeo is hot but Olivia Wilde is hotter hehe...

I love both. House, MD tackles mainly about the illness and their different diagnoses as primary story and the lives of each diagnosticians as the secondary story in each episode. It is the other way around for Grey's Anatomy where each episode is dealing with one or two, maybe even more lives of each doctors/interns as the primary story and tackles a cure/diagnosis of an illness/accident/what-have-you's as the secondary story. But both are interesting and definitely worth my time!

If we'll look at it differently, House is about House's ego and Grey's Anatomy is about Grey's promiscuity hehe..

I am an avid fan of both the shows mentioned as well as ER. I am really devastated that ER is coming to an end this year. I have watched it from the beginning. I hope that Grey's Anatomy and House can keep up to the standards that ER has set for being an amazing and informative show with the element of soap opera type style as welol. They all remind me of the Dallas days gone by.....lol

I love ER too! ...all praises for George Clooney!!! Speaking of Medical Dramas... Chicago Hope is also something I can't forget. And... what ever happened to Doogie Howser, MD? Can we also consider the show as Medical Drama or just plain teen age TV series?

Yeah i forgot about Doogie Howser M.D. I'll consider it a medical drama because it really was dramatic especially the electronic diary on his computer lol!

I used to really like House I watched all of the episods from every season up until this season. I like the old team. I don't like this new team I have not been watching House much lately. I don't think I have ever watched Greys Anatomy before I have just seen previews of it.

I prefer House. It is the only show I care to watch anymore. I don't even care if it is a rerun, if it is on, I want to watch it. I am not the only one, everybody in my house really likes to watch it.

I never did really get into House. The couple of episodes I have seen were pretty good. I am a Grey's fan. I have watrched it all from the very beginning.

Medical dramas... dramas indeed! I don't like them at all, if I had to choose between them I wouldn't . I switch channels as quickly as possible if either one shows up. I can enjoy a good and complicated storyline and a series can have heavy topics etc. but this just annoys me and gets me down. Perhaps I am not getting the clue of the whole series, but for me personally they are not enjoyable.

I have to go with House without a doubt BUT I've never watched Greys and quite frankly have never had any desire to...

I like both series. I used to watch both during their first series. However I do tend to lose interest as the second series gets repetitive and predictable. (c) ronaldinu 2009 - the more people I meet-the more I love my dog

House. I think there's no need to explain to you that humor used in House is far beyond one used in GA. Plus Hose is eccentric, maybe that's why I like this show much better.

I like House. I'm not into chick dramas - I don't even like Scrub even though it's supposed to be more funny that Grey's Anatomy and less serious. I like it when the mind is tested and I have to think about stuff while watching, I like it even more when I find it hard to guess the ending! I guess that's also why I like CSI (all three of them!). Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Oh yeah! House is just so mind twisting especially about the medical findings. I just don't have any clues about the terms they use but still it's a good learning experience while watching.

I am a big house fan. I have bought all of the seasons that are available to date. I think that house is just the greatest because he really says what he thinks whether others like it or not. He does not sugar coat anything for anyone.

Our HOUSE in Tagbilaran City is hotter than our house in Panglao. Not to mention the dust that has turned the windows into color GREY. Dust, pollution and too much heat definitely has a way of messing up with your Anatomy! I haven't watched HOUSE, and I got to watch Grey's through a pirated DVD that contains all season 1 episodes. So far, I liked it. Plus, I got to relate to some of the cases because I have met them in my college lessons. I got to see an almost actual appearance of patients with that certain disease.

I sure hope people of CSI will dissect your anatomy because you're as weird as Kyle XY.

House is more a show I can follow as I can't watch each and every episode. I prefer this type of comedy drama sitcom versus Grey's Anatony seems much more involved.

I used to be a big fan of House but then I don't know what happened...This past season got on my nerves so I stopped watching. Recently I started watching Grey's Anatomy which I really love. I know it's kinda soapy but it's entertaining to me and I really like some of the characters. So it's Grey's for me. ;)

I am a huge House fan. I don't usually watch Grey's Anatomy. The only time i have seen is when i stayed at my best friends house and she made me watch it.

Well, I have to say that I'm sick of both. Now that I'm on second shift I was sad at first as I'm was missing all my shows. But now I tried to watch and I just couldn't get into it. They both got on my nerves so turned on radio. And went on comp. to come here and play a game or two. You have a good day. But my old one was House. Your friend onlydia

I like house best of all the medical dramas on TV. The reason is that on House you at last have one doctor who understands about chronic pain and doesn't worry about creating an addict by medicating it. I sure wish he was my doctor.
