Everyone is afraid the Government will know all their information, yet they totally accept these watchdog companies who are supposed to protect from identity theft. Has it occurred to anyone that in order to protect your id, they have to claw through every bit of information available on the Internet and outside it to have a record of our whole life on hand? To prevent someone taking our information, we hand it over freely to these companies. How many of us check the Better Business Bureau or references on the company (good and bad) before handing our lives over to their safekeeping?
