Does playing games on your Wii actually help your reflexes?

With the revolutionary Wii, children and even adults are experiencing a new way to play video games with them literally getting in the action. There is a theory that video games help in developing your reflexes, mainly hand-eye coordination. Does Wii take that to a new level?

I think it does help and I have read somewhere that OAP's are playing them to help wih their joints, I do think they are a great idea and more people should get them for their kids to try and keep them as fit as possible.
