My experience with "resolving" discussions

I know I am not alone in this, but I have zillins of unresolved discussions. Mostly because I just don't feel like doing it. Sometimes I have more than one response that I really love and don't want to mark just one. Sometimes I don't like any of them enough to be the best response. But, the ones I really like are the ones where there's only one response!!! I clicked on my unresolved tab, went straight to the 10th page and started there. I picked the ones that had only 1 response and gave that person best response. I also checked a few that had only a couple responses and resolved them too. I'm going to start looking for just the 1 response discussions though, and get them out of the way first!!!

Hey reiny! That's not fair! That's just too easy! I don't like picking best responses either! It makes me feel bad! It's too hard to pick! I had 2 really big discussions, one had 85 responses and one had 190 responses and they surely weren't fun to pick best responses from! But, I knew I had to do it anyway! And I made sure that I did them before the end of the year so that I wouldn't have to think about it again when the new year started!

I once told myself I'd do 5 a day until I was caught up. That lasted about a week. I did more than 5 today, and might do a few more tonight. Although I do have some where there are more than 1 best response so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. But I do want to start with the easy ones and get them out of the way. I might sprinkle a tough one in there every day though...

I went though and got resolved my discussions. I had three pages and I thought that was bad. When I go through I look for someone who has kept the discussion going. If I do not have that then I will look for one that is really, really funny or sometimes I will have one that stuck out in my brain.

Some of them are really hard so it's like you have to have "alternate" criteria. I just try to go with the one that really shed some insight on the discussion itself.

you are right but I do not start as many discussions as you do.

I hate when there are so many good responses and you have to pick just one. I sit there and go back and forth between a few of them trying to decide. Good thing I guess that I don't start many discussions because the majority of people that I read their responses are so good.

Sometmes I felt bad not giving it to someone, but I figure they probably wont know so it's not that big a deal. It is a big deal for the person you pick though 'cause they get to see it!

That is true, I never thought about it that way.

That's how I do it too! I'm way behind myself. Thanks for reminding me!
