Firing people.

As an middle level executive in a pharmaceutical company it has been my duty to fire many young people who are not good in their jobs. Some would quietly accept the firing orders, some would cry and some would threaten me, and some literally beg for another chance. After terminating or getting resignation letter from some young people, I always loose my mood and in the nights I never used to get good sleep, and I would be forced to take a sleeping pill. The next day, I usually show my anger with my family members, and some times when my wife retorts back, I becomes a big fight. I have to obey my company's orders, at the same time I feel pity on these youngsters. Tell me what I have to do?
