My mom is having a bad new year.

I feel so bad for my mom. this past week so far has been nothing but expensive and trouble for her.
On the 2nd her brakes went and she spent 800 dollars getting them fixed.
We came home from Calgary on the 4th (sunday) to find the water trough for the bulls had broke...the element melted one of the pipes and the hole for the pipes flooded.
She got to her house and got stuck....then found out her water is all frozen up so she has to come to my house for showers and water etc.
I've been helping out as best i can - doing laundry and dropping it off delivering water to flush and cook with.
Then monday night she goes to my house to shower - gets stuck in the yard and the pulley on her power steering broke. (more money on the car)
We find out the bank didnt transfer the money to the correct account to pay for the propane so the cheque was nsf.
My poor mom.
Have you been have a rough month so far or has it been a good one?

Hey saundyl! I'm sorry that your Mom is having so much trouble
so early in the start of the new year. Hopefully things will
get better and everything will straighten out soon for her.
I sure hope it does. I do know how awful it is to not have
water, especially in the winter! I hope that she will be
able to get that fixed as soon as possible. And I hope that
things for her will start looking better and everything will
look brighter in the next few days! I will pray for her!

Oh God! I wish for her the best and I REALLY hope she got all year's problems at once. So she is done for the Year! I think many people are getting some sort of set backs as the year begins but any how the saying goes like: If God sends you lemons make lemonade! At least she has means to deal with the inconvenients and the best of all she has YOU to pitch in! My year is with no mayor trouble and I WHANT it to stay like that!

I hope they are all done for her too. I thought i had the December from he ll with losing our dog (we did get her back),
Not having heat for 6 hours or power, then going to work and no heat at all at work for 2 days,
Then getting backed into at the gas station (the guy said i came out of no where when i'd been sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for a spot and he just got there sat a couple minutes got impatient and didnt look where he was going even when i started honking) so then i had to argue with him and insurance because they wanted me to pay a 700 dollar deductible when i wasn't at fault. luckily i had witnesses.
Then my car was acting up and it was a belt and the battery.
I hope that both my mom and my year and everyone else's year goes much better than the last month and a half have!

Yes, this year is not beginning on a good note for me either. My husband's computer broke, and all of his important information is on it. Sunday, when we went out to go to church, the car would not start. We took the risk of taking our other car, which does not have insurance on it. Today is Wednesday, and the car is still not fixed, the mechanic can not get to it yet, and my husband has not worked at all this week. I paid my utility bill last week, and it still has not posted, I hope the check was not lost, I can not afford to pay for a stop payment on it.
Yeah, this year could have started better.
