I know it may sound stupid but I'm curious as to what I may find out. Is the Curious Case of Benjamin Button based on a true story? Who is the real Benjamin Button?

the curius case of benjamin button couldnt be a true love story cuz i dont think they has been a person who age's inversly like other s do,cuz there was such a person he would atleast ge a hot topic in the news and would experiment by scientist of his aging process welll anyways,most likey the character was just created by use of imagination,well i dont it is a suiting love story cuz the two people just meet in the middle of each thier age,then afterwards the woman grow older the the guy grows younger which really wierd

I hate to admit it but your right. The curious case of benjamin button was inspired by a 25 page short story which eventually was made into a movie by the writer himself. So basically, he was the one who wrote the curious case of benjamin button and at the same time directed it. I guess Inspiration doesn't just leave us like that. The movie was remarkable but, at some points, I fell asleep... not because it was boring but rather of it's slow paced transition and the old hollywood feel of it (no harm intended) I was quite captured by some descriptions he made and at the end, I really cried because it was so heartfelt even if it wasn't as influential.
