Some people are good at remembering names. It is good for good relationship in your community. Either for a tour guide, or for a boss, it helps shorten the distance as means of acknowledgement and motivation. Are you good at remembering names?
Good memory is not something born with. It is mostly brought up with intentional motive and training. It is never too late to learn. Maximize the use of your potentials to be a friendly and contributing member in your community.

I'm ok with names but I remember faces better. I'm very good at remembering specifics of the conversation we had, even if it was very brief. I used to be a bartender and I could remember what each person I served like to drink. When they would come in ,I would just go ahead and get what they got to drink the last time they were there(not opening of course because sometimes people don't want the same thing everytime) and ask Hi..whatever the name if I remembered...you ready for a ..whatever they drank. Now that I'm in management this trait helps me to be closer with the people who I work with as I remember details about them and always ask them about things specific to the lives.

I am not really good at remembering names but I never forget a face. I can remember some little thing you had going on in your life a year or two ago, but not remember your name for the life of me. So unfortunately, I am one of those people who is always saying, I'm sorry I didn't catch your name.
