What do you collect?

We're all in love with things. It can be bananas or pigs to fighter jets and Rolls-Royces. Majority fall in love with something, but there's that tiny subculture that's in love with something... and then acquires said somethings. Q: If you're a collector, what do you collect? I've had the greatest fascination for Hardbound Notebooks and Fountain Pens for the longest time now. My love affair with them started when there was a Book Fair in our campus back in High School, and I haven't stopped buying them ever since. I go to Power Books and Fully Booked [they're the BEST bookstores (for me) here in my country] on a regular basis to see if they've had new shipments of fountain pens and stuff. My favorite designers are Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Jordi Labanda because their illustrations are applicable to both kids and adults. They're cute and chic. :D How about you?

Hi, I collect change. Quarters, dimes, nickels pennies. I have about 300 dollars worth now. I don't just collect it cause its a small little nest egg but I like checking it for rare coins or damages that could be worth even more money. My obsession started a few years back and I doubt I will cash in any of it for a long long time. This is the easiest type of collection in my opinion cause it doesnt cost a dime, and makes you save some kind of money up if your not really good at that sorta thing like me.

I MUST AGREE. my mom has a thing for those old coins, and it got me a little hooked, as well. Right now our country has printed out these hundred-peso bills for the state university [University of the Philippines], like commemorative stuff and such. I started collecting them under the concept that they'd have a much, much higher value after a lot of time has passed. That would be like, totally great. :))

...those miniature car things are totally cheap. Some of them can be bought at the Toys Section of your local Deapartment store. I'd love to have a miniature version of a SmartCar, but I haven't seen any yet.

I collect plush toys. I like plush toys because they are soft but yet I usually don't play with them.

I have a big collection of writing books, and that's about it. That's the problem with collections, they eventually take over your living space, lol. My cousin had those cabbage patch dolls, like fifty of them. All lined on up on shelves in the living room. I always felt like they were staring at me, lol.

I don't really collect anything in particular persay all the time. I do like things like Porcelain Dolls, Northwoods themed decor, and country decor...... But I haven't bought much of the items like the dolls as I haven't had the money to spare and no where to put them. Plus anything considered fragile is put away or not bought as my kids are too little and don't understand you can't always just go to the store and buy a replacement.

Ey there. When I was younger I used to collect counterfeit trading cards of my favorite anime series, but right now I've stopped collecting except for my books. I purchase books every once in a while if I see a good one the stands. I've always would have wanted to collect bladed weapons but I have no space in which to display them proudly and safely, and I wouldn't trust my temper around those things. The Muslim Kampilan and Kris swords, plus the Japanese katana would make good items in my supposed "collection."
