My boyfriend got a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer for Christmas and for the past 3 days, we have been juicing fruits just to try it out and are both in love with it.
We even made a special shopping trip yesterday just to get more fruit.
So far we have made:
Orange/Carrot/Lemon
Kiwi/Strawberry/Mango
Orange/Grape/Lemon
Mango/Strawberry/Cantaloupe Melon
Grapefruit/Orange/Lemon
Do you have a juicer? Do you use it? What's the craziest juice you've ever made? I see you can juice potatoes even! How is that??

I do, but I have to admit that I don't use it too much anymore. When I first bought it I went crazy, and started juicing just about anything that was vegetable or fruit. I then realized that you waste a lot of nutrition doing it that way. The whole fruit has more nutrients in it than the juice. The juicers usually discards the pulp. So, unless you do something with it, there is a lot of nutrition wasted.

That's why they have lots of recipes for muffins or bread to make with the pulp.
I personally will eat any kind of fruit or veggie out there, but my boyfriend is the pickiest person on the face of the planet, and pretty well draws the line at carrots, apples and bananas. He doesn't like the texture of almost everything else. I figure if he's getting the juice, at least that's something.

I'm loving this one. I can't wait for summer when we'll actually get some variety in our produce. Right now things like mangoes and melons are SO expensive, and I can't imagine just having apple juice all the time.

Hi breepeace, I have been juicing for years. We find juicing a wonderful way to keep healthy. It is the only way I know how to get all the fruits and vegetables in my diet that are recommended for optimal health and well-being. We currently have a champion juicer, it's awesome the only negative thing I can think to say about it is that is quite large and requires a lot of counter space. Other then that it is great. I don't really have a favorite combination, everything always turns out delicious and of course nutritious! Well happy juicing! be happy, be joyful, be safe, be strong!!!! Oohcute2340

I've had a juicer for a number of years now and love it. One of my favourite combinations is carrot and beetroot, which is very good for you and tastes great. I also like banana and red berry combined with apple juice. I'm sure you'll have great fun with it and keep healthy at the same time. Happy juicing!!

I want one of these things. I have a habit of waking up to the infomercial and each and every morning I am sold even more by Jack on this. So whenever I can afford it I am buying one.

I bought one for my husband for christmas. He absolutely loves it! He even decided that he would be willing to cut back on the meat that hea eats and try toget more fruits and vegetables into his diet because of it. He has a nice big glass of orange/carrot/cucumber/tangelo/apple juice in the mornings before work. We are planning on finding out how many other vegetables we can sneak into some fruit juice so that we can get the benefit of the vitamins.
Another cool thing is the little discard tray in the back. After we juiced the pineapple and apples it made this really great fruity kind of pudding that was delicious!
