Do I have to LOGOUT from mylot everytime i exit browsing??

I think you better logout as system provided. Who knows someday anyone whom you authorized to use your computer and once back to your turn to use your computer and found something wrong with your myLot account, at that time you will feel very regret. To say an outsider or 'intruder' hacked to your myLot account I don't see the logic and so far I didn't found any discussion in this issue happened to our members.

If they have access to your PC, the chances are a decent hacker can get into pretty much anything you use, regardless o whether you let it logged in or not. Like most sites, MyLot uses cookies: logging out (or telling it you're on a shared PC) will delete a 'session cookie' (i.e. one that is only present while logged in) which gives a bit more security, but a good hacker can still get at the info. It is also entirely possible to intercept your PC's wireless transmissions and decode all that stuff. However, someone would REALLY need a good reason to do that, since it'd take an enormous amount of work!! In short, if you're the only person using the PC (or you trust the others), don't worry. :)

Well, I have never logged out from here anytime I shut off my Computer, or head off to work, etc. and have never had any personal issues here from it, so it is safe to leave yourself logged in, and a lot easier for sure as well. I know there might be others here who do this, but it is easier to not have to put in your information each time you want to come in here for sure.

I don't log out every time...only sometimes. I just close my browser. I have never had any problem doing this. No one has ever hacked into account and it always opens up at my opening page. Then I just go to the discussions I want to go to. You shouldn't have to log out every time you leave myLot.

i always suggest you to logout of the mylot whenever you login.but if suppose you have your own system in your home ,they you may not logout.i haven't heard till date that a mylot account have hacked.it one of the safest site that you can use ....i always log out when i come out of the mylot.happy myloting and have enjoyable weekend .....

I think you need not log out if you are using your personal computer at home. You should always log out of Mylot if you are using a public computer. But you should often log out of mylot even you are using your personal computer because it is good habit.
