On your stove under the burners do you use the little tin inserts to keep the tray from getting ruined and make it easier to clean?
I do and i love that i can just take them out and the mess and yuck is gone if i boil something over (i do that alot!)
If you dont use them what do you use to clean under the burners? Do you boil things over alot?

I used the burner liners all the time before I got my new stove. I can't imagine NOT having them. lol
But my new stove is a flat porcelain topped one and I just have to lift the pot or pan and give it a wipe when something boils over.

You have to be careful of the heat over the element, but no, surprisingly they don't scratch easily. In fact the clearner I use on it would probably scratch my windows, but is fine on my stove top. I really didn't want this kind of stove, but the hubs insisted, and now I'm very happy with it.

No we do not use any tin inserts. There are lots of powerful detergents that can clean the oven in a jiffy. Lemons also help to clean any dirt that remains there. However it is a good idea to use a little tin insert to keep ovens clean from dirt.

I have never even seen disposable tins that go on the stove. I just use the stove like it came and end up taking it apart almost every night and cleaning it. I can't stand when the water boils over and makes that mess. I always do that too!
My burner has a removeable part under the burner, so that is what I use.

I have used the disposable aluminum trays, but not always simply because they cost money that I don't care to spend. I do spill things from time to time, and boil things over. The easiest way to clean them, for me, has been to use soft scrub with bleach or something similar, and put it on and let them sit for a while- maybe 15 minutes or so. Then I scrub and most of it comes off. I am not a perfectionist when it comes to this, as long as it has been wiped clear of any loose bits, so they don't burn the next time I cook, some cooked on stains don't really bother me.

I find it saves me alot of time because i boil things over constantly...and the 3 dollars for 10 small ones and 6 large ones isnt that expensive because i change them every three months.
I cant use bleach anywhere in my house just the presence of it in my house makes hives appear on my skin...if someone puts bleach in my clothing in the washer even after its been washed/dried it still leaves red painful marks on my skin.

Hey saundly! I have never used those tin trays and I surely should!
I am always having things boiling over and making a terrible mess!
I have to scrape and scrub with a soap pad and then I can't use the
burners for awhile until they dry out again! lol I am such a sloppy
and messy cook! Everything I make tastes great, but I make such a
mess while cooking! And then the cleanup takes forever! I think
even if I did use those tins I would still get stuff inside the
burners anyway!

I love them too. The magic erasers are awesome however i was told that if you are using them on different coloured walls you need different magic erasers so the colour doesnt transfer.
I've been so bored the past couple days - snowed in cant leave so I've been cleaning. I have j-clothes for cleaning the oven - that way i dont wreck the nice ones i use for dishes. I changed the burner trays and cleaned the oven. Part of the cleaning thing is i "resolved" to keep my kitchen cleaner this year. my table has a habit of being where i set my bag and mail etc when i come in and i dont get it tidied very quickly.
