Have you or anyone you know ever started your own newspaper?

I am asking this because I am seriously considering this as a small business to begin. It would begin in my home with me doing the reporting, ad sales and design and the page layout. Within a year or so I would hope to have the funds built up to rent an office and hire an additional news reporter. I would have the paper printed at a newspaper office located in another town. Would love to hear your story or that of someone you know. Thanks!
