Do You Have a Prayer Request?

My intention here is to make myself available to offer up prayers that are requested by other members of this community. Almost all of us find ourselves confronted from time to time with things that are almost overwhelming to us, especially if we have to face them alone. There is great comfort in knowing that others are willing to share your burden and to seek to ease the situation with you and for you. Often these moments leave us feeling like there is not much that we can do other than pray. How much more that seems to be true in our virtual relationships. In this new blog I do not intend to hold myself out as someone who has a special ability or power that can make a difference for anyone. In fact I don't want to really call attention to myself at all in this ministry, but to call attention to the One who has the ability and the power to make a difference. I believe that is the one God of the Bible. It is to Him that I will present petitions and supplications that are asked for by other bloggers. Please know that I am not about to assure you the outcomes of our prayers will always be what we thought we wanted them to be. If we encounter what seem to be unanswered prayers despite our persistent petitions, I will recommend that we embrace 2 Corinthians 12:9 "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Perhaps one of the things we will learn is to accept the answers that we receive and determine to line up our lives with His will. I'm not sure right now if I will make another post about prayer and its impact on life, or if I will just post prayers in the comments section below to requests that you make. We will see how it goes from here, whether there is even a need for this blog to exist. Let us, "pray without ceasing." (1 Thessalonians 5:17). If you would rather have a private prayer offered, feel free to email it to prayercorner@ymail.com

Dear Loving Father, We acknowledge that you are the Provider of all the gifts we enjoy. Help us to always be grateful for those, and to be good stewards of them. I present here my prayer on behalf of Ladybug. She is facing a difficult time financially, Father, as are so many in these perilous days. She is a willing worker, doing the best she can with two part time jobs. But those are not enough to help her out of the pit in which she finds herself. Lift her out of that pit, Our Father, and set her on stable ground. Open the doors of opportunity and let her see them. And give her the energy and courage she will need to weather the storm. In the name of our generous Lord Jesus, Amen

Yes, I do have a request today. I've been typing for while, waiting to get circulation into my right arm, hand, wrist, and fingers, but the right arm still has issues. I once had double carpel tunnel surgery - both hands, about a decade ago -- and it has been fine since then. But in the last week, the sensation of carpel tunnel has returned. It's rather annoying to have it return, because it's uncomfortable, but also because I spend a lot of time at the computer each day, where I feel it the most. I would very much appreciate prayer for this ailment. Thank you.

Our Father in Heaven, Holy is your Name. I give thanks this day for my blogging friend, Jellen. She is a steadfast believer who looks to You in the big things and the small. I make this admonition on her behalf and in regard to her hands. Please deliver her from the discomfort she is feeling in her right hand and arm, and take away the concern that a painful and nagging ailment may be returning. Help her to continue to know the joy of writing and encouraging others with her messages and her wit. In the name of Jesus, our true comfort, Amen

Wow that is a good idea. I will visit your prayer request site. I have so many request to God and I include it to my prayers. But I believe it is up to Him if those requests be granted. I still have faith that my prayers will be granted but I don't know when and where.

That is the proper way to offer up prayers, in faith, trusting Him to grant our requests in His time!

I would like prayer for my father, he has been in the hospital for two weeks. Initially it was a heart attack, and now there are other issues that won't allow him to swallow his food. He has slight dementia, and is not cooperating with the doctors, in other words, he is being a difficult patient. I am requesting a healing blessing for him. I am also in a terrible financial situation, bill collectors have even called me today, which is a Sunday. I need for myself a financial blessing. God bless you.

Mighty and merciful Father, May your name be glorified in all the earth! We are grateful for the privilege of bringing our petitions before you. It is an indescribable joy to know that you care for us. Today I present to you requests on behalf of sudalunts and her father. We request your hand of healing be on her husband as he has suffered a heart attack and the complications it has brought. We know that you can use medicines or doctors or do wonders by your own touch. We want the best result for the glorification of your name, please, oh Father. Help sudalunts and her beloved parent to accept your will graciously and faithfully. Help them to trust you for their provision in dealing with those financial matters that seem to be closing in on them and weighing them down. Lift them up and draw them near you. Give them peace of mind in the midst of turmoil! In the name of our Rock and our Redeemer, Jesus, Amen

Lord of Mercy, May your name be honored in every place. I bring this petition before your throne on behalf of one, raynejasper, who is already seeking your healing and care for loved ones. I add my voice to the plea for healing for her father, who is in dire straits, in need of your intervention. We know you do not need doctors to heal, and if it is the best interest of your Name, we ask that you provide the healing through your hand alone. Or if it is best for doctors and medicines to be a part of a process, we plead for you to provide the funds necessary to acquire such care. Or touch the heart of a healthcare professional to cause him or her to offer service at a rate affordable for raynejasper’s family to meet. And on behalf of her sister, we lift up the child she is carrying. We pray for a earnestly for a healthy child to be delivered in the fullness of time. And please grant peace of mind to the mother as she bears this little one into the world. In the name of our Lord, Jesus, Amen
