why do you like google earth?

hi all! many of us have definitely heard of and even tried Google Earth, which is a cool programme which shows magnifiable satellite images of nearly everything in the world (unfortunately, some areas are still in poor quality, but still cool!). some of us use Google Earth for research. some for travel purposes. and some just for fun! (along with Wikimapia which makes google earth/google maps a lot cooler) in my case, i use Google Earth for a variety of reasons: within my country, i use Google Earth to track mileage when i drive somewhere, or try to use it to find landmarks when driving in an unfamiliar area. i also use it to take a look at places where i have been too and wonder how far the places are to my house. i also use google earth to look at interesting places outside the country, such as satellite photos of Beijing, London, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and the likes. how about you guys? if you use Google Earth, why do you like using it? thanks and happy mylotting!
