cb radios

I have not seen one of those in a long time. I remember my dad had one when I was like 12 years old. We used to listen to it and laugh. One day when my parents were not watching me and friend got on there, and started playing around, we were pretending we were grown women and we were flirting with the truck drivers. They were flirting back with us and we were giggling like crazy. Then we got caught and got lectured about how that was not a toy, and further more we should not be flirting with grown men, even we could not see them. It was fun while it lasted.

I had one in an older truck I had, but I don't have one in the truck I have now. I am actually planning to have one installed as soon as I get the money, though. Ironically, I want one just like the one in the picture you added to your discussion. Those Cobra models were probably one of the best ones on the market. I used to use my CB all the time. My friends all had them in their trucks too, so we talked on them a lot. Cell phones have taken the place of the CB radio for the most part, but it is still fun to play on them.

i still have mine but it's in the closet. i use to stay on mine all the time. i had a base station in the house & a mobile in the car. i had alot of fun w/them.
