are you a packrat

do you keep everything? do you have a house full of useless stuff. i'm not a packrat. usually when i move i through everything out that is no necessary so i have less to pack and move. i hate nicknacks so my house is pretty bare. my daughter however is a packrat and keeps everything. every litle piece of whatever she finds she keeps, drives me nuts

I am the total opposite of a pack rat. I cannot stand clutter and that is probably because both my mother and my father are pack rats. If I am not going to make use of something - I throw it out, give it away, or donate it. I would much rather repurchase something a year or two from now then have it sitting in my hosue for that time frame taking up space.
