best hard drive capacity

hello guys..please help me i want to buy laptop computer for myself but i dont know what is the best hard drive capacity..is it 100gb or more is ok.? i need your opinion or advised ..have a nice day

now a days hard disks are cheep and coming with a large capacity and also they are good in performance too so buy the latest hard disk with more capacity 360 GB HD are also available

100GB is ok. But if you have a great urge for collection of Movies and songs big volumes of songs you need more hard disk space so go for 260GB or even higher because i don't like to delete even a single file from my computer.

I think 100Gb is enough, anticipation for the software or O/S that requires the larger space on the future, and buy external hard drive for your data if you have large data. The external hard drive can also be used as data backup, and you can transfer your data faster. If you also work with pc, more easier if use external hard drive, just plugin and access it.

I am not sure if any laptop company will give you 1000 GB, but if they are giving then its good.
Otherwise 320 GB is also good.

I would suggest you to go for a 320 or 540GB hard disk, because this is going to be a one time investment for atleast sometime in the future, so I would say go for the configurations based on seeing the future prospects. even 100 GB is good but still at one point it would become less. So why taking chances go for 320 GB or the 540 GB one. Make a one time investment and be happy.
