It is interesting that every time President Obama has spoken it has been a major production. The stage and backdrop for his acceptance speech in Denver. The staging of a Rock Concert before his speech in Germany. His taking the same train ride that President Lincoln did and the media coverage of that. Constant comparing him to Lincoln, FDR, Reagan and JFK. Now the cost of the Inauguration is 3 times higher than any other president. We are told that his acceptance speech will be carved in Marble, before anyone knows what he will say.
As has been asked "Will the Real Obama please stand up".

I agree with you to a certain extent, there are times where he seems more like a rock star than a president, at his inauguration for example all the people yelling and hooping and hollering. Now we are going to see if all this hype is justified, the hard work has only just begun for Obama. He speaks with great eloquence but now we have to see if he can back it up with substance, on top of all the expectations he is entering office during a time of war and great financial turmoil.
I for one hope he can succeed and that he can govern with the same integrity he has conducted himself throughout the election campaign while in office.

Sadly, too many voters don't know the difference and don't care.
