Do you like angel food cake?

I don't think angel food cake is very popular. I'm sure most people would prefer chocolate or vanilla cake. I don't mind angel food cake once in a while in the summer time. It's light and airy and has hardly any calories. I think the best way to eat it is with some fresh berries on top. Do you like angel food cake?

Angel food cake is a yummy light and airy easy to make treat. We are not cake eaters but we love a slice of that with fresh fruit at the end of each meal. I even once in a while make a light lemon sauce to drizzle over it. I have even tried a chocolate angel food cake and prefer the white

the lemon sauce recipe i use is
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup confectionery's sugar
1 table spoon diet seven up
whip refrigerate for up to 7 days it stays light and fresh

What exactly do you mean when you say angel food cake? In the UK we have something called angel cake with is like 3 layers of cake wedged together with a thin layer of light cream and the cake slices are different colours like pink, white and yellow. This is quite a light cake too and I was wondering if it was the same thing. I like it very much and so do my kids - it's cake!!

I love angel food cake.There are so many ways to eat it and it is not filled with calories. I believe that it is excellent with berries on it. I also don't mind the calories much so I always add a little whipped topping to those berries to give it even more flavor.
I wonder how many people have never had it and assume that they wouldn't like it? I know people like that.

Angel food cake is ok. Its not the best cake in the world but its good enough. I am not eating sweets as much as possible due to my eating it so much is causing my face to break out really badly. Tomorrow is St. Patricks day and I know that my sister will make a lot of junk food and I wont be able to eat any of it so I bought an angel food cake at the store today and will dye cool-whip topping green and put it on the angel food cake. That should give me enough of a taste that hopefully I will stop craving sweets so badly.

yes, i like it. use to make them for my son when he was home, he loved them.don't guess i've made one since then & he's been gone got 27 tears. guess he still likes them??

i had alot rather have something chocolate.lol i always made the angel food especially for my son. was never one of my faves.

I love angel's food cake!
It's so fluffy, airy, you can use it for lots of kinds of desserts.
Mostly, you can eat it with some fruits and whipped cream.
Or make a two stories cake and have a thick layer of chocolate cream in between.
or just like it, with a cup of tea.Cut it in small square shape and sip the tea...it's just divine.
If I have it at home, it dissapears in one day.My kids fill it up with as much whipped cream as they can without it spilling on the floors and on them. I know that this is one thing that for sure gets to be eaten fast.

I love angel food cake. I have not had that in a very long time. I need to make sure to buy the ingredients for it the next time I go to the store.

I love it though for me it seems to be a pain in the butt to make from scratch, every time I try it bombs. It's easier to just buy and I do like it alot.
