Which Household Chore do you hate/love?

My boyfriend hates cleaning the bathroom. Scrubbing the toilet, the bathtub, the mirror.. he hates it all, and thus I end up doing it once a week in order to keep on top of things. I love doing the laundry. The fresh clean smells, the warmth of a load just out of the dryer, hanging up clothes on the line on a sunny day, putting a load in to wash and then wandering off to read a book. On the other hand, I HATE doing dishes. We have no dishwasher which means it's a necessary evil to do them by hand, but I hate it, and I procrastinate until I can't procrastinate anymore when it comes to doing them. I also hate vacuuming. Thankfully, we have all laminate and linoleum in the house, with just a runner at the front door and an area rug in the living room that can be shaken outside to remove dirt and the like. What about you? Which chores do you enjoy? Which do you despise?

Ironing would have to be the least favorite of all. I just dont like to do it. I wont iron very often and other then that, I love cleaning and taking care of my home.

Hey.. I'll second that one, too. My mom got me an iron for Christmas a few years ago, and I was like, "Oh gee, thanks. What do I do with it?" I don't own one article of clothing that needs to be ironed. Even my cotton shirts and perfectly good if tumbled in the dryer and then hung up immediately. Ironing bites!

I'm really not a big fan of washing dishes by hand that's why I'm happy to have a dishwasher. That means not having to stand at the sink to wash dishes. I really don't mind cleaning the bathroom though. I just throw on a pair of gloves and start scrubbing. I just hate being the only person to clean the bathroom that drives me crazy.

What I hate are organizing dress in our closet. You know we have many dresses, some of it are my dress from childhood. If we will organize it we will group the dress by its color, age (new or old) and types. I don't have the patience to organize it. Actually you will hate me when you ask me to clean the house, because I hate wiping dust for the reason that I have allergy. All I help is to wipe the floor using my foot and arrange sofa. What I love to do are washing dishes and laundry, but it is compulsory that I have a background music while doing it. I choose it because I love the smell of fabric conditioner and detergent. It has to have music so as I can sing along and I am inspired to work, I sing everytime I do the laundry LOL.

Surprisingly, cleaning the bathroom is about the only one I DO like. It is the smallest room to do, for one. Plus, everything is made of chrome and porcelain and tiles, so it is actually, I think the easiest one to do. I hate vacuuming, because I insist on getting every blasted little bit, so I end up doing it forever. Washing the floor, no better, using a mop to me seems like you are just spreading the dirt around, so I end up doing it on my hands and knees, which is getting more difficult and painful as I age. Yep, with ya on the dishes, HATE doing them with a passion. I want a dishwasher and the S/O won't let me have one since there are only 2 of us. He also says they use too much hot water, therefore cost more. Yeah, right, whatever.

I really don't mind scrubbing the bathroom. I agree with you. It's the dishes that I hate. We also don't have a dishwasher. That's the main thing I want when we get a house of our own. I want an amazing bath tub and a dishwasher.
