Rock collecting and Gold prospecting

Is there anyone interested in rock collecting and/ or prospecring? I travel alot being in the oil and gas field and just about every part of the country has something to find. I would like to make a few contacts to share locations and activity in each area of the country. we may be able to help each other and have a good time sharing the tail. this is like fishing if you extend the truth a bit that ok.

I'd love to share the trail with you rock if I was able to get out and about. But alas, I'm not. There are plenty of places here in Tennessee to go rock hunting. I don't know about anything else except geodes.
